Bro. Mathai has an M.P.A from New York University (NYU) and B.S. from Dallas Baptist University in Accounting, Management, Marketing and Journalism.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

God Almighty had allowed him sufficient grace even in the midst of his physical illness to work for the last 27 years as a regulator of public utilities in Oklahoma.  Currently he is working as an Executive Consultant in the Public Utilities field.  Along with his secular job, he is a public speaker and active leader in several Christian Ministry organizations including IPC Education and Welfare Society (India/USA), IPC Kottayam Theological Seminary, PCNAK, WMPC, IPC Midwest Region, Kerala Pentecostal Writers Forum, and several charitable and missions work of IPC in India.

He is a well known Journalist, the former Publisher of Kerala Deepam, Editor of India Abroad, The Chieftain, The Master’s Voice Family Magazine, and The Living Witness.  He has written an autobiography, "Upadessyude Makan" and has produced two music CD’s: 1. Kannuneerillaatha Veedu; 2. Manasseh Vyaakulam Aruthe (God of My Second Chance).  He is married to Irene, and they have two daughters, Diana Abraham and Priscilla Thomas, married to Johnson Abraham and Shibu Thomas.
